Judy Bayley: The First Lady of Gambling and
First Lady of Charity

Judy's taste for flair, fashion and the spotlight emerged during her early years.
She was a generous hostess who inherited a virtually bankrupt estate. She rose to the challenge of making the Hacienda successful from 1954-1971.
Judy could not say no to any animal or individual in distress. She sponsored many charity events and received awards and acclaim. |

Hurricane Florence

Known as Hurricane Florence, she founded the first Rape Crisis Center. She facilitated changes in the judicial laws and was instrumental in bringing the first women's correctional facility in Southern Nevada. This facility will be named after Florence McClure. |

Remembering Nevada Women
The Mission of the Nevada History Project is to provide visibility
and support for the gathering and dissemination of history about
the roles and contributions of Nevada women of every race, class
and ethnic background.
Women of Diversity Productions , Inc. has collaborated with the
Nevada Women's History Project in producing a video tape entitled:
Remembering Nevada Women
This tape was shown at the Women's Summit conference March 20-21,
1998 in Las Vegas and is available for $20 plus $4 shipping and
handling. The tape is more than an hour in length and depicts:

BPW (Business and Professional Women/USA) is a national organization
providing advocacy, education, resources and financial assistance
to women in business.
Women of Diversity Productions, Inc. has collaborated with the
