Barbara Buckley

Barbara was the first woman to be elected as Speaker of the Nevada State Assembly.Barbara served as Clark County District 8 Democrat Assemblywoman from 1994 – 2009. She is the Executive Director of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, providing free legal services to low-income Nevadans. She has received numerous awards, such as, Lawyer of the Year, Legislator of the Year and the Kristine Nagy Johnson Award for Child Advocacy.
