Janice has been active in the community of Las Vegas since the 1940s. She was President of the Las Vegas Jayceettes 1951-52, Janice has had leadership roles in the Jr. League and was chair of registrars of the Sun Youth Forum for nearly fifty years. Currently Janice has been sponsor of several Masterpiece Theater programs on Vegas PBS and other events on that television station. She is a founder of the Smith Center of the Performing Arts.
