Lily Fong
Lily Fong is a deceased educator, philanthropist and community leader in Nevada. She was the first Asian American to be hired by the Clark County School District in Las Vegas. She later served ten years as a Regent for the University of Nevada System of Higher Education. As president of the American Association of University Women, Las Vegas, she helped raise money to fund several University of Nevada Las Vegas buildings. A Clark County public elementary school is named for her and her husband and the Geo-science building at UNLV is named for Lily.
