Jean Ford was honored posthumously by the Clark County Commission in March 2010 as a part of Women’s History Month. In Clark County she was instrumental in creating the Clark County Library district where many of her papers are archived. In Las Vegas she is best known through the founding of the Nevada Women’s History Project.
